About this Event

This workshop will get you started, introducing you to all the essential knowledge, practising a modern calligraphy script. The final part of the workshop will concentrate on a personalised project to take home.

All materials will be provided, and you will receive the following in a personalised presentation box:

- introduction to modern calligraphy worksheets with tips on how to get you started and also keep you going after the workshop

- straight calligraphy pen holder

- pencil and eraser

- 2x types of nibs

- black and gold ink

- practice pad

- a selection of different papers to practise at home

The starter kit will be yours to take home.

The workshop is hosted at Pooky & Grumps, a wonderful deli based in Horsforth. Halfway through the workshop you will be treated with a light buffet of sandwiches, meat and cheese platter and a sweet bite accompanied with a glass of wine, beer or a soft drink.

The workshop makes for a perfect opportunity to get yourself started in a new art, or to simply have a great afternoon out with a friend/s while trying out new things in good company.
