In the world of wedding stationery, every project holds a special place in the heart of the stationer. Recently, I had the pleasure of collaborating with a delightful couple, Dan and Chloe, to create their custom wedding stationery. Partnering with the talented wedding planner, Emma from Tebbey & Co., the goal was to design a fine art-inspired suite that seamlessly blended neutral tones with vibrant splashes of colour. here are some the details of this stunning project, highlighting the exquisite craftsmanship and personalised touches that made Dan and Chloe's wedding stationery truly unforgettable.
Dan and Chloe envisioned their wedding stationery as an extension of their fine art-inspired celebration. To achieve this, I incorporated pressed flowers into the design, capturing the essence of nature's beauty. The couple opted for a predominantly neutral color palette, allowing bursts of vibrant hues to emerge through the inclusion of lively flowers. Each piece of stationery featured carefully selected pressed flowers, showcasing the perfect balance between elegance and natural charm.
The custom wedding suite comprised a three-piece ensemble, consisting of invitations, RSVP card, and detail card. The invitations, adorned with pressed flowers, set the tone for the celebration, evoking a sense of understated sophistication. Accompanied by custom envelopes and an one of a kind envelope liner, the stationery exuded a luxurious feel from the very first glance. The envelopes were addressed in hand calligraphy, utilizing a custom ink color that beautifully matched the vibrant flowers found within the suite.
Day-of Items: To carry the fine art theme throughout the wedding day, the couple, Emma and me worked on various day-of items. The menus not only showcased the carefully curated culinary delights but also served as personalized place cards. Each guest's name was delicately inscribed in hand calligraphy, using the same custom ink that adorned the envelope addresses. This thoughtful detail added an extra touch of individuality to the reception tables. Additionally, we designed a custom order of the day sign, table numbers, wedding favour cards, and custom dessert table cards. These cohesive elements tied the entire wedding experience together, ensuring a seamless and visually stunning celebration.
